What We Do
At Dr Shikha's Skin Clinic we take outmost care to provide best possible solutions for your skin.

Pre-consultation
Initial consultation starts on knowing the skin type and guiding best possible method that suits the skin.

Procedure
By the expert hands of Dr Shikha Shah, the procedure treatment is carried on to give you the results.

Post-Procedure
After the procedure, it's crucial to follow your healthcare provider's instructions for proper wound care
Common Removal Procedures
Cryotherapy
The skin tag is first frozen using a spray or liquid nitrogen, and a few days later, it is detached from the skin.
Ligation (Tying Off)
A small band or thread is secured around the skin tag. This helps constrict the skin tag preventing blood from circulating, thus helping the tag shrink and fall off.
Electrocautery
The skin tag is burned with a special tool that passes an electric current through it.
Surgical Excision (Cutting)
Local anesthetic is used, and the targeted skin tag that requires removal is extracted using a sterile scalpel or surgical scissors.

Post-Procedure Care

Keep the area clean and dry
Rinse the affected area with mild soap and water and dry with a clean towel instead of rubbing the area with it.

Apply an Antiseptic or Ointment
An antibiotic ointment can be applied to avoid any kind of infection in that area. In case there is any friction in that area, we need to apply a sterile bandage over it.

Avoid picking or scratching the area
We must stay away from scratching, picking, and rubbing over that area. In order to make sure there are no complications such as scarring or infection, we need to allow the scabs to fall off naturally.
